Turn your understanding of data, metrics and business requirements into applications other people can use.
From ideas to real business applications with AI.
Watch four complete business applications built live with AI. Ask questions throughout, then build your own version with the step-by-step build guide, tested prompts and source code.
✓No programming experience required. Designed for business professionals, analysts and consultants.
Not a prompt-writing course. An app-building course.
AI is used across the whole development process, not just to write a better prompt. You'll see how a business need becomes a working application: requirements, code, APIs, databases, interface, automation and deployment, with every decision explained as it happens.
Prototype working tools for clients, not just specifications and slides.
Turn recurring business problems into practical tools, without first becoming a software developer.
Four applications. One complete build per session.
Each two-hour session builds a different application with different tools and techniques. Interface previews are illustrative.
Financial Market Analysis Platform
Build an application that collects financial data through APIs, uses Python to process and analyse it, and presents investment research through an interactive interface.
What you'll see in this build/01-markets · Wed 4 Nov 2026 · 18:00–20:00Financial Market Analysis Platform
The build
Connecting to a financial market data API, processing and analysing the data with Python, and presenting the results as investment research in an interactive application.
What makes it different
External data APIs, a Python analysis pipeline, and turning analytical output into an interface people can explore.
Analytics Governance Platform
Build an application for managing business metrics, definitions, reports and dashboards, including AI-assisted document analysis.
What you'll see in this build/02-governance · Wed 18 Nov 2026 · 18:00–20:00Analytics Governance Platform
The build
A central application for business metrics and their agreed definitions, alongside a catalogue of reports and dashboards, with AI used to analyse supporting documents.
What makes it different
Structuring governance information, linking metrics to the reports that use them, and AI-assisted document analysis.
HR & Recruitment Management Platform
Build an HR application with employee records, leave approval workflows, calendars, automated emails and AI-assisted extraction of candidate information from uploaded CVs.
9–12 DecAPPROVED ✓
What you'll see in this build/03-hr · Mon 30 Nov 2026 · 18:00–20:00HR & Recruitment Management Platform
The build
Employee records, leave requests with an approval workflow, a team calendar and automated email notifications, plus recruitment features that use AI to extract candidate information from uploaded CVs.
What makes it different
Multi-step approval workflows, calendars, automated communications and AI-assisted document extraction.
Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning Platform
Build an application that uses Python and predictive modelling to forecast demand, support inventory planning and explore different business scenarios.
What you'll see in this build/04-forecasting · Mon 14 Dec 2026 · 18:00–20:00Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning Platform
The build
Using historical business data and Python predictive modelling to forecast demand, working out the inventory implications, and comparing business scenarios in an interactive application.
What makes it different
Predictive modelling, presenting forecasts to decision-makers, and scenario planning.
See every decision. Not just the finished result.
Every masterclass follows the same development journey, but the technology and challenges change with each application. You'll see how the tools fit together, how problems are solved, and how the finished application takes shape.
Start with the problem
The business requirement, the intended users, and what the application needs to deliver.
Choose the building blocks
How the AI tools, APIs, data sources, database and interface will work together.
Create the working app
AI-assisted coding, data integration, interface development and automation, in context.
Test and deliver
Testing, troubleshooting what fails, refining the result and preparing it for deployment.
Different apps.
Different techniques.
// AI tools · Python · APIs · databases · automation · deployment
Financial analysis introduces market-data APIs and Python processing. Governance structures metrics, definitions and reports, with AI document analysis. HR brings approval workflows, calendars and automated emails. Forecasting adds predictive modelling and scenario planning. Four different builds, not the same tutorial four times.

Can't make it live?
After each session, the complete recording and all the build materials are available on their own. Live attendance is the only way to ask questions during the build.
Every build becomes part of something bigger.
All four applications from this inaugural series, and future LBIA Build Studio projects, will also be added to Applied AI Systems for Business Intelligence, LBIA's wider learning programme, which will keep growing with new practical builds.
// Masterclass bookings and enrolment in Applied AI Systems for Business Intelligence are sold separately.
Learn from an experienced BI instructor.
Adam Finer is the founder of Learn Business Intelligence Academy (LBIA) and an experienced instructor in business intelligence and data analytics.
LBIA Build Studio brings that teaching experience to AI-assisted application development. Instead of presenting only the finished product, Adam walks through the decisions, tools, integrations and troubleshooting involved in building working business applications.
Questions.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The series is designed for business and data professionals who aren't software developers. The emphasis is on seeing the process and understanding the decisions behind each application.
Will I be coding along during the live session?
No. You watch the application being built live and can ask questions throughout. Afterwards you receive the step-by-step build guide, the tested prompts in development order, the source code and the deployment instructions, so you can build your own version at your own pace.
When are the sessions, and in which time zone?
Wednesday 4 November, Wednesday 18 November, Monday 30 November and Monday 14 December 2026, from 18:00 to 20:00 Paris time (CET). That is 17:00–19:00 in London and 12:00–14:00 in New York.
What if I can't attend a session I've booked?
You still receive the complete recording and all the build materials for that session.
Can I buy just the recording?
Yes. After each live session, the recording and complete project files are available for $59. After the series, all four are available together for $179.
Can I book a single session?
Yes. The first masterclass, Financial Market Analysis, is $49. The other three are $79 each. The complete live series is $199.
What tools will be used?
Each build uses a different combination of AI-assisted development tools, APIs, Python, databases and deployment services, chosen to suit the application.
